Is Asclera Treatment Painful?

Most of our patients tell us that there is very little discomfort associated with the therapy. This is for two reasons. The first reason is that very small needle are utilized. The needles utilized are smaller than accupucture needles in most instances. The second reason that the procedure is very well tolerated is that the medication has a “numbing” property, similar to a local anesthetic. So is numbs as it is injected.
